Honeybee Products is a startup that plans, manufactures, and sells hot chocolate equipment and services that were originally developed based on Panasonic’s steam technology. (Proposing a new food culture using the industry’s first method.) The first support program for BeeEdge, a joint venture between Panasonic, Scrum Ventures, and INCJ.
“New business ideas of large companies that are not utilized” and “organizational culture of heavy large companies” will be solved by establishing a startup. In addition, it will be a forerunner of new methods for creating innovation in Japan by contributing to the fostering of a culture of challenge within large companies.
Carve out the hot chocolate business idea that Panasonic decided not to commercialize due to the small market size. With an independent governance system, we have established a system that can be mass-produced in a short period of time by implementing cooperation with other companies at our own discretion. Introducing the special designs of outside (at that time) designers, and creating a low-recognition “drinking chocolate” food culture in Paris
We are developing our business, such as making proposals at the chocolate festival.
As the first program of BeeEdge, a startup support company that carves out business ideas, technologies and human resources from large companies, we have built a growth model that effectively implements collaboration with other companies such as financing and business strategy. From startups that challenge new food culture, contribute to the revitalization of industry.
